Description

Due to the high level of methane pressure, XTO has removed all heavy equipment from the drill site, install a burner, and is flaring off the flammable wet gases coming off the deep Marcellus drill hole at the Nelson location.

Flaring and blowdown activity is currently an unregulated activity, with no air emission controls in place.
