I just hiked along the Esplanade taking Gigapans every 1/2 hour on the clock circle, somtimes more often.
Here I met someone looking for Center Camp - if you are at 2:30 and Esplanade and you are looking for Center Camp than something has gone horribly wrong for you!
And I chatted with an emergency services person with a German accent who was doing a safety walk through. She talked about being 'chewed out' for her lack of radio discipline by someone from Seattle. I _suspect_ with no further evidence, that it was our friend Jesse doing the chewing :-)
Taken Sunday 8/30, before the gates opened.
