Description

Duluth was originally settled by Sioux (Dakota) and Chippewa (Ojibwa). It was claimed for France in 1679 by Daniel Greysolon, Sieur du Lhut.
It was also once home to more millionaires (per capita) than any other city in the world. It's population is 87,000 and within 30-mile radius,the population is 184,134.
Duluth is located at the westernmost tip of Lake Superior, halfway between Minneapolis/St. Paul and the Canadian border.
