Tai O is a fishing village on the western side of the Lantau Island in Hong Kong. It is also known as the “Venice of Hong Kong. Here it is the home for a special Tanka community of fish-folks who have built their stilt houses on water for generations. The traditional salty fish and shrimp paste are the most popular must-buy for visitors to Tai O.
