- Description
-
This is the entranceway of the largest Hindu mandir (place of worship) in Minnesota. It is in Maple Grove, Minnesota, near the Twin Cities. While being built, the temple survived a shocking incident of vandalism. Two young men broke in and destroyed almost two million dollars worth of statuary. The vandalism set back construction for three years, but the Hindu community recovered and completed the structure. You can learn more at www.hindumandirmn.org
