Here's my scientific effort to document the mysterious racing rocks of Racetrack Valley (www.pbs.org/wnet/nature/deathvalley/rocks.html
). I chose a high vantage point on the south side of the playa, near the bedrock source of the racing rocks. This GigaPan was taken near noon on May 28, 2010. It'll be interesting to try to reoccupy this spot in the future to see if I can document the motion of the racing rocks...
