Your vivid description is something, perhaps, that John Brett may have written concerning one of his paintings (tinyurl.com/Brett001 Will open in
a new tab or window) ... and he loved Pembroke too :)

This was the last shot of the visit to Stackpole Quay/Barafundle Bay as we walked back from Barafundle. It sort of hits you as you crest a rise and we wandered further and further to the right away from the path, pitched the tripod in some uneven spongy grass and started shooting! Another one of those times when you simply don't realise what's in shot (like my Symonds Yat one) until later examination showed Manorbier Castle and the lighthouse. We did enjoy our Pembroke holiday lots!

Beautifully composed panorama ... simply gorgeous.

This was stitched with Gigapan stitch and uploaded by it - when I stitch with Microsoft ICE (usually because the first go round with Gigapan stitch produced a mistaken alignment of something - in general Gigapan stich is better and faster) then it has a nice crop tool. My copy of Photoshop mostly can't cope with these panoramas since it gives up at 32767 pixels across... Microsoft ICE has an autocrop which I can use, but which often cuts off some part of sky/sea so I tend not to do that until preparing something for printing.

I like your shots Sophie. Can I suggest that you save them as Tiffs, then use Photoshop to either crop the edges or use the crubberstamp to fill in the black border. Well done Keith
