This is part of an effort by the U.S. National Park Service to document glacier change in our glacierized national parks. This panorama viewpoint is at or close to a historic panorama taken by S.R. Capps in 1925 and repeated by R. Karpilo in 2004. While the Muldrow Glacier still fills the valley below what is most apparant are the retreat of the smaller hanging glaciers above the large valley glaciers.
