Description

This is part of an effort by the U.S. National Park Service to document glacier change in our glacierized national parks. This panorama viewpoint is at or close to a historic panorama from the 1920s which shows much of the lower valley full of ice and TWO icefalls. Back then there was another icefall just to the left of the one you see today.
