    Thanks Illah, it was pretty much a straight forward process. When taking the (freehand) series, i tried to keep the owl in the center of the frame to keep the focus on him. the whole pano is just one sweep,(and it is probably my fastest pano ever - it took about 1.5 sec to take;-)) Then I stitched the pix but kept the layers - and used the resulting pano as a guide and copy/pasted the the owl (and some kids) from right to left into the pano and erased the overlapping parts that covered the owl's right wing... hope this makes sense... ;-)
