Canon PowerShot S5IS
This GigaPan was shot while waiting for PRO (Professional River Outfitters) to shuttle us and our gear to the put-in at Lee's Ferry. People were moving around making last minute adjustments to the pack so body parts are visible throughout, but it shows the quantity of gear necessary to run the Grand Canyon. The enormous quantity of food necessary was supplied and packed by PRO (who provide an amazing service) and is not represented here.
Grand Canyon GigaView is a new school virtual tour of the Grand Canyon created with a collection of GigaPan images taken on a private rafting trip in April 2010 and geolocated in Google Earth. Explore the journey grandcanyongigaview.tumblr.com /
Search for it here on GigaPan.org or dive into the day by day trip report at the link above. Enjoy & please share with your networks!
