GigaPan; Canon SX110 10x optic...
This hardware store is a major resource in this rural community located in the heart of the Flint Hills in east central Kansas. And - you are seeing only a portion of the inventory as there are a couple of hidden aisles plus the back room. I was doing some work in nearby Matfield Green and was referred to Clark's - perfect. You just don't see many hardware stores like this anymore. Thanks to Jim and the crew for their hospitality and for help finding the plumbing, electrical, and mechanical items I needed.
My referral also sent me across the street to the Longhorn Lounge & Cafe for lunch while this GigaPan shot. The cafe, too, is top-notch - the special today was the best chicken fry and homemade mashed potatoes I have found in ages!
Lunch was over and the GigaPan wasn't so I just left it shooting away while I drove back the 20 miles to Matfield Green to finish the job. It was done when I returned to pick it up. One of the fellows had threatened to 'moon' the camera while I was gone, so I didn't know what to expect with the stitch but so far I haven't found him.
