The City of Guanajuato is one of the most beautiful colonial cities from Mexico. It has played an important role in the histiry of the country, from being one of the prime silver producing centers to a relevant part in Mexico's independence to being a cultural center today that holds the Festival Cervantino, the most important cultural event in Mexico.
