"4 x 5 view camera"? "Velvia"?? Please translate for those of us who never took a photograph until 2008.

I use to take photos with a 4x5 view camera. I have been thinking about doing a 360 with it and use Velvia, but processing sheet film and then the great cost of scanning it would ruin me financially, so I am happy to use my small cameras and try my best to take extraordinary panoramas.

I can second David's comment about taking 360s. In my case I am now disappointed if I can't take a full spherical :-) I have spent far to long in the Winter months in museums and galleries! Now that the weather is improving I shall be off out to bag some more panoramas though.

Thanks Tom, once you do it, it will be something that you will always try to do. The only critical part is the first photo and the last photo ... a difference in tilt can ruin it.

Very impressive, David! One of these days I'll have to try a 360 myself.
