In this Arizona State Park, Ayer Lake is a man-made reservoir, drawing water from Queen Creek, on the other side of the ridge, called Magma Ridge. Beyond that, the large formation is Picket Post Mountain. Movement of high, thin clouds caused the darker left half of this panorama.
