Great panorama : ) You took this from Corona Heights near Buena Vista park. You might set your white balance to about 6400 Kelvin during sunset and to about 2900 kelvin after sunset. These scenes are captured better using exposure bracketing, though you do not have as much time around 6:30pm. The D700 allows you to capture two exposure brackets instead of three when you are trying to capture at sunset. This would roughly double the amount of capture time from 4 minutes to about 8 minutes which would work. Captian Vacation, He probably captured this panorama a month earlier around October 23rd when the sun was setting at about 6:21. The sun was setting at about 4:54 on November 23rd.
