This shot was taken from the east side of the Palos Verdes Peninsula on a bluff overlooking Western Ave at about 19th St. The pan goes from the Santa Monica Mountains in the northwest around the LA basin to the Angels Gate lighthouse in the southeast.
This is my second attempt and I was using a Canon G10 with their 200mm tele-extender.
