Grandpa Herman Hashizume backyard garden on Maui. Grandpa Hashizume has had a backyard garden
for many many years and we enjoy the fruits and vegetables he grows and the opportunity for a wonderfu
playground for my children to spend time in. This is grass roots sustainability were a back yard garden can
provide for many. This gigapan is to preserve a family memory and also to teach ethnobotany students about
local plants and their importance.
