One of the most difficult panoramas i've made, just because of the location and extreme exposure differences from one corner of the room to the next. A 360-degree, triple-exposure HDR image that took three shooting attempts over the last several months to finally get correct. Tonemapped in Photomatix, Stitched in AutoPano Giga, cropped and corrected in Photoshop.
The abandoned pumping station I found a couple years back near South Mountain Reservation in northeast New Jersey looks like it's been there for about 80 years or so and abandoned for at least the last 20-30 of it. The inside is completely covered in graffiti, and the building itself is completely rotting away. That said, as soon as I stepped inside the first time I wanted to create this photograph, happy I finally did.
After additional research, it seems that the burn marks found on the ceiling are lasting remnants of a fatal fire at the station.

Great shot. btw, thanks for commenting about my wall. It must have taken forever to hdr it. How many pictures did you take? It looks like a lot of work. I tried doing an hdr and couldn't get it to work right. Tried it one way but I think I had to do it the way you did it.

Very impressive, Jay. I'm sure all that post processing took a lot of dedication, but the result is certainly worthy of the effort. I personally prefer my New Jersey scenes a little more bucolic (e.g., http://www.gigapan.org/gigapans/263 28/), but there's no denying that there's plenty to explore here. Keep up the great work!
