Ushuaia ia a port city on the Beagle Channel near the southernmost part of Argentina. It is a popular destination for tourists from the warmer more northern parts of the country, offering an escape from summer heat and a selection of winter sports in season. It is also the port from which most tour ships bound for Antarctica depart.
The city of Ushuaia occupies left side of this image. The right side is the view down the dock that the cruise ships use. Behind the ships is the blue water of the Beagle Channel down which we will sail under the supervision of a Chilean Pilot.
Welcome to the City at the End of the World. Please take some time to have a look around. .
