This gigapan is one of several "gigaplot" photo-remonitoring points setup in the Northern Jaguar Reserve in Sonora, Mexico to help measure the effectiveness of various landscape treatments aimed at improving habitat conditions for jaguar and preferred prey species. This image was taken in June 2008, the last day livestock were present on the reserve. Compare to the photo below "Dubural Hills Gigaplot Sep 09" (below), which reflects 14 months without livestock grazing.
