Description

Dedicated to the Annunciation of the Virgin. This is the site, I believe, where the official Greek flag was first raised in 1807. Founded in 1790. There is a small museum on site which provides a real glimpse on monastic life in the 18th Century.
Best viewed in Google Earth.
