    Description:

    The sides of the skull are composed from thin bones that are currently in little pieces in a box! When the skull is prepared, these will be fitted back in place.



  3. Temporal fenestrae

    Description:

    On both sides of the skull are massive holes where the muscles that worked the lower jaw came up through the sull to attachment points on the ridge and back of the skull.

    Description:

    A massive bony ridge that runs along the top of the skull. The large muscles that work the lower jaw were attached to this ridge.

    This shallow depression is where the left eye ornit is located.

    Description:

    The skull sat on top of the jaws. It has been partially crushed.

    These are the lower jaws. The tip that joined them together is missing and probably fell out of the cliff many years ago.
