The middle portions of the scene are cities of Paterson and West Paterson, NJ. There are two good gigapans already for City of Paterson by Ron Schott and myself at: gigapan.org/viewGigapan.php?id=27319 and gigapan.org/viewGigapan.php?id=15148. This one is from a different angle.
New York City is behind the hill on the right side of the photo. The two panos taken on the hill, showing all NYC's skylines as the background, will be uploaded soon.
