Lake Ontario waterfront at Oshawa Ontario. Taken from Bonnie Brae Point, scene of lake monster sightings in the 1950's. I've seen cars pulled from the water at the end of the pier, before the rails were put up. I've seen an older man climb the light tower and threaten suicide while the local police talked him down and I've spent hours swimming in these very waters, before pollution soiled people's minds about swimming in the great lakes. I've caught bucket upon bucket of smelt from these very shores before invasive species killed them off. When we were young, I punched my cousin's lights out for telling his Mom we were playing with matches on this very beach. My cousin's house was on this beach right about where the surf kite is laying now. All that's left of the late '50's is puplic parkland, seaweed and dead fish along the shore. Grin . . . memories.
