This wednesday we decided to go a day to the beach. The one we chose was the one on the Brouwersdam because of it's size. It's many hundreds of meters wide and very long, meaning that there is always plenty of room. Even on this day when thousands of people went there.
Some people just ignored the unit, others kept a watchful eye on it. And I think some explicitly posed.
We had a great day at the beach. We came there late, partially because of traffic jams, but we made it a long day by just staying until after sunset. The entire day gave us, including the pans, well over 1000 pictures. Many very nice.
I made three pans, drawing the attention of many people. This one was done with the 18-105 lens set at 105mm. Depth of field is not deep, but where is is focussed, it is nice and sharp. The other two were made with the same lens at the 58mm setting and the 18mm position. One just as wide as this one, the 58mm, which does not really make a big difference. The other one at 18mm I made very tall. The max vertical range. Unfortunately the stitcher did not understand that. Half of the image shows two rows of beach just above eachother. Not sure if I will upload those.
