Fountain Gorge on the Fraser River about 3 miles north of Lillooet, BC. Notice the fish drying racks (with the blue tarps). Local natives have fished thes waters for millenia. The major salmon runs go up the river beginning in May-June. There are also some huge sturgeon in the river, some reaching 15 feet long and weighing more than 1000 pounds. The Bridge River joins the Fraser about a mile downstream from here.
The CN rail line follows the river towards Pavilion and Clinton while Highway 99 parallels it above.
This panorama was assembled at 50% so I could upload it with my dial-up.
