Bow Lake and Crowfoot Mountain in the Canadian Rockies. While I was setting up the Gigapan there were a couple of photographers on the left with their big Canon lenses taking photos of birds nearby. Little did they know they were being immortalized in one of my first Gigapans!
Update: This will be the first of my Gigapans to be output at 300 pixels per inch on a wide format Roland plotter. Finished size will be 48"x 178".
Panorama size: 774 megapixels (53544 x 14473 pixels)
Input images: 225 (25 columns by 9 rows)
Field of view: 157.8 degrees wide by 35.6 degrees~Take a cablecar journey to the top of the Alps, or better yet, to the summit of those magnificent Rocky Mountains in Alberta with the hauntingly beautiful music of Alan Hovhaness playing in the background "Mysterious Mountain"
Whether the mountains are real or just barriers in your life to overcome....enjoy your journey and marvel at the mystery of it all. ~
