Completed by artist Harry W. Scheuch in 1937, the Scottdale Post Office Mural is an example of one of Scheuch's few large-scale works. The mural occupies three of four walls of the building's interior hall. Two smaller murals (one seen here) occupy the shorter ends of the hall. This mural is intended to showcase the early Mennonite settlers of the Scottdale Region and their largely argriculturally based life.

The Post Office Mural is particularly difficult to gigapan due to low light and laws regarding the photographing of mail and Post Office customers. The Postmaster insisted that I not photograph the P.O. Boxes; however, a schedule of prices managed to get clipped in this gigapan.
