"North 40" -- EAA AirVenture 2009 by Mariano Rosales

The world's largest gathering of airplanes happens every year in Oshkosh, Wis. EAA AirVenture hosts over 12,000 aircraft for one week in July at Wittman Regional Airport. Here pilots and aviation enthusiests can enjoy a daily airshow, unique aircraft, and comrodary with people from all over the world. The "North 40" is on the north end of the airport and surrounds the crosswind runway 9-27. It serves as the general parking lot for aircraft just flying in for the day, and also as a campground for pilots that want to camp out next to their airplane.
