By my count, this is the 100th GigaPan pertaining to Rice University and/or its students that has been uploaded to gigapan.org. And what a way to celebrate - playing tennis on main court in Jake Hess Tennis Stadium and we see two Rice students, Rebekka and Mecklin playing some tennis during the latter part of July.
This beautiful panorama can be viewed in Google Earth via the link.... which you may believe is incredible when you see it.

Plato once said that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and I would hope that everyone who sees all my GigaPans has at least one favorite. To me, they are all my favorites. Either I learned something from the event that I never knew before or I met a very special person(s) for anyone who is in one of my panoramas, I will never forget because I look at them at least once a week :)

One hundred gigapans of any one place must be a record - congratulations! Highlights for me are tinyurl.com/nm4ryx
for the treatment of
shadows, tinyurl.com/lu6oaz
and tinyurl.com/lo9k2y
for composition (and
shadows), tinyurl.com/maw5dr
for scale and tinyurl.com/mpxc4e
because it is what I
would call an 'extreme' gigapan - the
details are everything.
