This is a hand shot 360 degree, full dome view of the rotunda of the Texas capitol building in Austin. It was taken around 10 PM and was mostly done as a test of the stitcher's ability to render a full dome shape. Eventhough the source shots covered 100% of the dome's peak, the software was unable to close the hole at the top of the finished product. There are also a number of alignment errors, some of them the photographers fault.

I missed two shots in the sequence and had to substitute duplicates of adjacent frames. Overall, I am curious to see if the stitcher can create an enclosed dome panorama and look forward to trying again, using lessons learned from this experience.

Also, this isn't as high a resolution as most panoramas. A full zoom pano of this space would have required 545 shots. At 1x zoom, I got the space in 70-80 shots operating under a low battery warning for the last 1/4 of the sequence.
