Description

A garden system comprising betel nut, coconut and mixed forest with an understory of swamp taro along the ancient stone path. Yap has been inhabited for more than five thousand years and comprise systems of gardening that are interwoven with peoples needs for building, medicine, food, and stimulants! In effect the interrelationship with their environs has led to highly productive food systems with very little input.
