A handheld pano because my Gigapan's batteries died just as everyone wanted to leave! Couldn't blame them, as it was getting late and we had 5 miles to hike before dark. Anyway, Iceberg Lake is nestled in east central Glacier National Park in Montana, USA. It gets its name from the fact that chunks of ice float in it year-round. We were there in mid-June after some cold weather, so in this photo it's more like Ice Sheet Lake (and the snow field in the foreground is four or five feet deep), but it's a wonderful place nonetheless.
