I have no idea of what, if any, significance this bridge has. I've just always liked the look of it as I've driven by. The Saluda river is a dividing line between Greenville and Pickens counties. This pano took a while to shoot, because I was standing on another bridge (for cars) over the same river. I had to pause the Gigapan unit whenever a car came by because the bridge would vibrate. Trucks caused it to bounce.
