Selkirk Common Riding is a festival which commemorates the return to the town in 1513, of Fletcher. He was the only one of the townsmen who survived the battle and came home with an English Flag. After the riding of the towns boundaries and the Casting of the Colours in the town Square, the flag is returned to the Provost. This year's standard bearer was James Cheyne. I had managed two larger gigapans of 240 shots each but the ceremony was coming to an end and so I quickly readjusted to do this small one of 48 shots.
