Canon g10 - 92 frames.
Friday June 5th, app 2:30 pm, a westbound train consisting of 120 cars suffered a 27 car derailment, in the vicinity of Park road in Oshawa Ontario. No one was hurt, and while the train was carrying a number of tanker cars of toxic material, several of which derailed, no serious breach occurred. Neighbouring homes and apartments were evacuated while the transfer of the contents of these cars took place, and all residents were back home by mid Saturday afternoon. This pan was shot from the Park Road overpass at 4:00pm Sunday, shortly after the authorities reopened the bridge. It is looking east, the direction from which the train was coming from.
I apologize for the roughness of the pan, but given the crowds' enthusiasm, and restricted viewing area, it was rather difficult trying to take the time to set up properly. Grin, we humans are such examples of consideration when jostled amongst a crowd.
