The Iao Valley, and the Iao Needle, the formation on the left, are simply awesome!
This is my first 'real' gigapan with the Canon S5IS. I didn't really take much advantage of that big lens in this one. I was experimenting with varying the focal length by image. Sure, it would be nice to take everything at 426mm...but that would be more or less insane!
This was at 130mm, and I had the white balance set to Tungsten, hence the blue tinge.
I smashed my gps in the rental car door, so the Iao Valley gigapan locations are a little approximate...something hard for my hyperfocused self to allow :-)
