Novel Blood Glucose Monitor with Controlled Reverse Iontophoresis
Abstract: We propose a new controlled reverse iontophoresis monitoring method that can be used to both safely transport insulin across the skin and measure glucose levels without the extraction of any blood. The proposed controlled reverse iontophoretic monitor (CRIM) will have its major advantages in its non-invasive drug delivery, user-friendliness, and accuracy in control of blood glucose levels of diabetic patients.
