Beautifully lit at night, the shuttle is dazzling in the darkness of Kennedy Space Center. Some unfortunate movement of the GigaPan robot during the 0.5 second exposure ruined the otherwise glorious shot.

Only press (or very lucky science museum correspondents!) can get to this area. We are only about 500 feet from the Shuttle. Definitely not on the public tour.

Hi, very nice panorama. Wonder if you can get that close as visitor during the night equipped with a gigapanbot and a tripod? I was in Florida last week, but after reading the limitations I did not choose to visit the Space Center. Regards ET
