Wildlife:
Top = Koa`e Ula - red-tailed tropic bird
This is a 3-plate photoetching.
Bottom = `ilio holo i kauaua - Hawaiian Monk Seal, an endangered species unique to Hawai`i.
This is a one plate photoetching in copper. Both colors were added to the plate before printing.Abstracts = playing with fractals using the old Kai's Power Tools on a Win 95 machine!
All single plate photoetchings. The multi color prints were also printed by adding all colors to the plate, and printing in one pass through the press. "A` la Poupe`e is another fancy French term that means wiping more than one color on a plate in a selective manner, and then running it through the press all at once."
