Parc de la découverte
Lieu de promenade apprécié, le parc du Laténium raconte l’histoire des rivages et des hommes qui y vécurent depuis la fin de l’époque glaciaire jusqu’à nos jours. On peut s’y baigner, admirer les Alpes et le Plateau suisse, prendre un verre à la terrasse du café, compléter ses connaissances en visitant le musée. La reconstitution des paysages qui se succédèrent en ce lieu, de la toundra à l’agriculture, alterne avec le port et sa barque celtique, le " village lacustre " d’il y a 6’000 ans, les foyers du campement des cro-magnons, ancêtres de l’humanité actuelle ... Soudain, la préhistoire devient proche et compréhensible.
