Looking west along the north shore of Lake Ontario from Oshawa towards the skyline of Toronto. Apologize for the vignetting . . .
The bay to the right of the panorama is a site historically known as Camp X. Camp X was a prime training site for WWII espionage agents. Mr. Stephenson, authour of "A Man Called Intrepid" was a major figure in the operation of the camp. Part of the camp is preserved with pathways and such, but much of the northern land is industrialized, a major LCBO warehouse being one of the larger buildings on the land.
