Description

Now then cynics, this is a view toward that centre of metacosmic significance Avebury (www.gigapan.org/viewGigapan.php?id=21465) taken from West Kennett Long Barrow. It shows what disinformational archaelogists (see public "information" display, inset) call Silbury Hill but in fact is a spaceship dating back to the Stone Age, buried under a few feet of soil.

The space aliens parked their ship here because it is next to the entrance to Atlantis (see snapshot and inset).

We were privileged to be here on the same day that a new message from space aliens was discovered in the field of rapeseed. Resembling a giant pair of eyes the message is clearly "We are watching you, beloved Children of Earth".

This joyous occasion was celebrated by a band of brother and sister twinklies who made a pilgrimage to the field. They started with a ceremony at the entrance to Atlantis, making votive offerings of rapeseed flowers and Opal Fruits* and then walking to the field whilst singing a song about eagles - Lords of the Sky - accompanied by hand-drums and conch shells*.

*No, really! Opal Fruits** and singing. Oh deary, deary me.

**Oh no! Opal Fruits are now called STARbursts (tinyurl.com/wiki-opal Will open in a new tab or window). I thought fruit-flavoured candy was slightly disrespectful, but now I get it - ROTFL!
