The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is one of the last remaining amusement parks on the ocean (actually it's the only one I know of besides Coney Island). Admission is free to walk around. There is also an arcade. This photo was taken from the Santa Cruz Wharf. The Wharf has restaurants and gift shops. Everyone is happy in Santa Cruz.

Thanks for your snapshot. This is probably a seagull. Although, we do get swarms of brown pelicans at times.
