105 & 110 Quilt - 3X Panorama by Nikolas Schiller

This fantasy map was created specially for Gigapan. I noticed that my previous uploads were not really panoramas, so I decided to construct one for Gigapan using a previously made map.

It was created by taking a 9,000 x 6,000 pixel version of "105 & 110 Quilt" and increasing the width by 3 times to 27,000 pixels. I would have made it larger, but my computer cannot handle images larger than 30,000 pixels.

The map contains modified aerial photography of the area around the 105 & 110 interchange in Los Angeles and is apart of my "Los Angeles Interchanges Series," which are a series of maps featuring one geography (Los Angeles), one projection type (Diamond Quilt Projection), and one aspect of the built environment (highway interchanges).
