This is (or was) the main strip of shops in Midway, Texas. Like the name implies Midway was roughly a halfway point between the larger towns of Crockett and Bryan, Texas. Like a lot of little towns that suffered when the cotton went away and the interstate highways bypassed them, Midway's old businesses faded away, leaving shuttered antique shops and weathered Coca-Cola signs on the side.
