    If you lock the exposure using AE lock and turn off the digital zoom your panorama will look better. Canon Powershot SD850 IS Advanced Manual Turn the dial away from the auto mode to the M manual mode. Your WB white balance should not be on auto AWB either. 1. pg 33 Using the Digital Zoom / Digital Teleconverter Turn off the digital zoom. (Should only have to do this once) Menu tab with image of camera Digital Zoom < Off > 2. pg 59 White balance set, down arrow, left / right arrow to adjust. In this case you would want cloudy. If you accidently left it on daylight it would not be bad. AWB auto white balance would change from photo to photo. 3. pg 53 Locking the Exposure Setting (AE Lock) Lock the exposure point the camera where you want to meter the exposure and press the shutter half way down. Press the ISO button. The AEL icon will display. To release the AE lock press the ISO button 4. pg 51 Shooting with the AF Lock point at the subject and press the shutter half way down. Then press the flower/mountain button and the AFl icon will display
