This section of schist should have undergone a higher grade of metamorphism (change) than the same rock shown in previous pans (gigapan.org/viewGigapan.php?id=17733 or gigapan.org/viewGigapan.php?id=17585)... although we did have trouble finding the blady blue mineral (kyanite) that would indicate this here.
