I had been wanting to take this shot from Pen Hill for many months so was pleased to at last have the opportunity. Sadly, as you can see, the visibility was rather poor. I had hoped to be able to take a snapshot of Bath to mirror the snapshot of Pen Hill from Bath (www.gigapan.org/viewGigapan.php?id=8792&snapshot_id=24849) but apart from the visibility being too poor, the hill is flat in the direction of Bath and the effective vertical field of view is about 0.1º. Still, if at first you don't succeed ... go and have a cry in the corner :-)
